We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with the Living Lord, grow in His Word, discover their gifts, and use them for His glory. WHAT TO EXPECT
WORSHIP @ THE RISING:
Sunday Morning Service begins at 9:30 am usually lasts around 90 minutes. Pastor Joy leads our worship team with a heart focus on being Spirit-led, enjoying contemporary praise & worship music. Pastor Mark always brings a fresh word & our congregation responds eagerly & with freedom. The Rising Prayer Team is always available at the end of every service to pray for any and all who desire prayer agreement at the altar.
RISING KIDS MINISTRY:
Rising Kids run simultaneously for ages K-6th grade in "The Hub" including Kids Worship, Hands On activities centered around the Word of God. PreK Explorers (3-5 yrs), Nursery (Infants - 2 yrs), & a Mom's Nook for nursing moms is also available on the second floor.
RISING COFFEEHOUSE:
Come early as a Rising Coffeehouse Barista awaits to brew you up your favorite cup of hot or iced lattes. (Every cup supports the mission of Hope Coffee around the world!) Free drip Coffee, hot tea, & hot cocoa are also available at our self-serve station upon entering.
MONTHLY SPECIAL GATHERINGS;
Every 4th Sunday, The Rising Church brings ALL ages together for "Family Worship Sunday"! Kids and adults worship together before heading off to age-divided discipleship following.
FAMILY FEAST is the FIRST Sunday of every month where everyone heads down immediatley following the service to enjoy a potluck monthly-themed lunch!

Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new folks! In our 4th year as a church plant in Gunnison, The Rising Church is always growing and welcoming new faces! You'll fit right in!
